Sondos completed her Bachelor degree in dental surgery in 1997. She then moved to Belfast, where she graduated with a PhD in dental trauma from Queen’s University Belfast in 2001. She completed her specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry in Manchester.
Sondos is a professor and a consultant in Paediatric Dentistry at Liverpool University Dental Hospital. She is a member of the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry executive team, an associate editor for the International Journal of Paediatric Dentistry and a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Sondos’ main area of clinical practice is dental trauma and minimally invasive dentistry. She has experience in delivering complex care for children who require specialist and multidisciplinary treatment.
